Laurel Axen Carroll, owner and operator of Ancient Current®, is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Board Certified Chinese Herbalist and a Certified Labor Support Doula. She is also a faculty member at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Manhattan where she was a supervisor in the clinic and taught Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Ms. Carroll specializes in women’s reproductive issues including fertility enhancement, infertility, PMS, irregular menstruation, fibroids, pcos, endometriosis, pregnancy related issues, labor preparation, and labor induction.
Laurel completed her undergraduate studies at New York University and has traveled extensively through Southeast Asia and Latin America as a professional photographer. She is also a certified personal trainer and pilates mat instructor. Laurel is married with children and lives with her family in Rockaway Beach, New York.
